Troubleshooting
Problem
Using IBM Internet Services Monitoring agent version 7.4 on AIX, the bridge process "nco_m_bridge" doesn't start successfully, but is crashing with "segmentation fault (core dumped)" error message.
Symptom
the bridge.log file shows the last messages as below, before crashing:
Debug: bridgeInit started
Information: Preparing to recover /opt/IBM/ISM1/aix523/is/var/sm_bridge.safREC
Debug: Creating map-disk file
Information: Attempting to recover /opt/IBM/ISM1/aix523/is/var/sm_bridge.safREC
