Content
You are in: IBM i Technology Updates > General IBM i Operating System > Network Auditing Enhancements
With IBM i 7.3, network auditing is enhanced to include more than TCP connections. UDP traffic can now be recorded to the audit journal. Secure connection information for the System SSL/TLS, VPN, and IPsec protocols can be audited. Network or security administrators can analyze the audit records to determine if the communication is secure and if so, how secure. For more details, refer to the IBM i Knowledge Center Socket connection auditing.
