Unable to connect to the Directory Server: Authentication Data has not be found

Troubleshooting


Problem

Unable to add a connection in Access Manager for a directory server. Unable to perform an Apply for the Access Manager - Runtime branch in Configuration Manager, even though the instance of the directory server exists and is running.

Symptom

Authentication Data has not been found.

      or

      or

Error: The directory server 'servername:port' is not responding
      or

The directory server localhost:389 is responding, but the Base Distinguished Name (DN) hat not been specified correctly. Correct the Base DN and try again. If you do not know the correct Base DN, contact your system administrator.
