Migrating from JBoss Application Server (community edition) to WebSphere Application Server

Technical Blog Post

Abstract

Migrating from JBoss Application Server (community edition) to WebSphere Application Server

Body

As mentioned in yesterday's blog post IBM TRIRIGA Upcoming Technology Changes, starting with version 3.4 of IBM TRIRIGA Application Platform, JBoss Application Server version 5.1 (community edition) is no longer recommended or supported for production environments.

As an alternative, you can migrate your existing IBM TRIRIGA Application Platform deployment on JBoss Application Server to IBM WebSphere Application Server during the IBM TRIRIGA Application Platform version 3.4 upgrade process.  As part of your purchase of IBM TRIRIGA Application Platform version 3.4, you are entitled to a licensed copy of IBM WebSphere Application Server.

Migration instructions are provided on the IBM TRIRIGA product wiki on the Migrating from JBoss Application Server (community edition) to WebSphere Application Server page.
