Setting up email notification required properties in Maximo


To quickly set the email notification settings, you work with the System Properties application in Maximo® Asset Management. 


1- Log in to Maximo Asset Management and select Go to > System Configuration > Platform Configuration > System Properties.


2- In the System Properties application, locate and change the following properties as shown in the example: = hostname of smtp mail server
mxe.adminEmail = email address of administrator = UTF-8 = text/html; charset=UTF-8


3- Select Go to > Security > Users.

4- In the Users application add email details for the specified user.
