Troubleshooting
Problem
Maxadmin user is unable to activate Data Collection Settings in License Usage Monitor app. User is getting the following error when activating the crontask by pressing OK.
Steps:
1. Login as MAXADMIN or any other user
2. Go to License usage Monitor
3. Click on Data Collection Settings
4. Select ACTIVE and Press OK
The following error is displayed. BMXAA4214E- An Unknown error has occurred. Please contact your Administrator for assistance.
Gather the logs from (home) directory and determine where and why the error occurred. com.ibm.license.metric.MetricPersistenceException
