DataPower Low Audit Disk Space

Troubleshooting

Problem

DataPower stops accepting traffic and begins reporting errors such as 'Low Audit Disk Space'

DataPower tries to recover by releasing the audit reserved space.

  • Prevents services from installing on the configured local network port.
  • All data services would be brought down and do not process any new connections.

All these operations are to help prevent further disk space usage, you would see messages such as the following:

  • Audit log space low - using audit reserve space. Shutting down all services.
  • (dp-technician:default:system:*): ssh 'SSH Service' - Low audit disk space
  • (SYSTEM:default:*:*): Audit log space low - using audit reserve space.
