Question
Why MONREPORT.DBSUMMARY stops collecting data when we execute db2_hang_detect script ?
Answer
The db2_hang_detect script calls db2pd -stack <EDUID> command in order to check possible hang.
When we execute MONREPORT.DBSUMMARY, it will be like sleeping internally. If we execute db2_hang_detect during executing MONREPORT.DBSUMMARY, internal sleep will be interrupted by a signal to collect stack trace. This way to receive signals is design as expected. Any changes on the code might cause unknown problems.
