Updating Web Application settings in IBM Content Collector Configuration Manager

Abstract

This document is part of IBM Content Collector 4.01.10 Interim Fix 005 Knowledge Center updates and provides information on how to update web application settings in the IBM Content Collector Configuration Manager.

Content

Perform the following steps to update the configuration in IBM Content Collector (ICC) Configuration Manager to point to the newly set up Web Application Server.
  1. Open ICC Configuration Manager.
  2. Go to the General Settings and do the following.
    1. In Web Application section, set the values of the external server where the web applications are installed:
      1. Edit the Host Name.
      2. Ensure that the Port number is either set to the default port number, which is 11443 or is set to the port number you configured.
    2. In Liberty Server Settings section:
      1. Select Only services that require platform-dependent code are deployed to the Liberty Server option.
      2. Add the Host name of the ICC server.
      3. Ensure that the Port number is either set to the default port number of ICC server, which is 11443 or is set to the port number you configured.
  3. Save the changes.
  4. Go to Configuration Web Service and click Reconfigure.
  5. Click Validate after the reconfiguration process completes.
