Problem
No column metadata is retrieved when the name of a database object (i.e. table or view) includes a backslash character.
Symptom
Cognos Analytics retrieves metadata via the DatabaseMetadata methods implemented by a JDBC driver. This includes such methods as DatabaseMetadata.getTables and getColumns. No metadata is returned from the Snowflake JDBC driver, when an object name includes a backslash character.
