Abstract
IBM Cloud Pak System ships Db2 pattern type along with Db2 images for V10.5 (Linux and AIX).
After Db2 V10.5 end of support (EOS), IBM Cloud Pak System Db2 pattern type future releases (after V2.3.1.1) will not ship Db2 V10.5 images.

Db2 V10.5 end of support (EOS) is announced here.
IBM Cloud Pak System ships Db2 pattern type and Db2 V10.5 images. IBM Cloud Pak System releases after V2.3.1.1 will not ship Db2 V10.5 images. Also, subsequent Db2 pattern type releases will not support Db2 V10.5 installation.
Db2 V10.5 binaries are available as a part of earlier releases of Db2 pattern type (for example, Db2 pattern type V1.2.6.0) and corresponding deployment will be successful. But the support will be as per Db2 standard guidelines. Therefore, such deployments will not be supported after the EOS date (April 30, 2020) for Db2 V10.5.
Customers that currently have Db2 V10.5 instances deployed in their work environment, need to manually upgrade to Db2 V11.1 or Db2 V11.5. See steps from the following links.

Customers using Db2 V11.1 or V11.5 (from earlier IBM Cloud Pak System or Db2 pattern type versions) do not have any impact.
