Template Issues with Migration jobs for WebSphere Application Server for z/OS v9

If you're preparing to migrate your WebSphere Application Server for z/OS traditional profile servers to v9.0.0.0, you need to know about and acquire the fix for APAR PI66503.  This resolves errors in some of the templates that our migration tools will generate.  APAR PI66503 is targeted for delivery in v9.0.0.1, but is also available as an iFix on FixCentral for anyone using v9.0.0.0.  As always, we recommend you stay current with your fix packs so if v9.0.0.1 is available it would be best to start with that fix pack and avoid the iFixes.

Because we have two different tools for generating migration jobs, which run exclusively on different operating systems and are delivered through different offerings, there are two versions of the iFix available to download.

One iFix fixes the templates used by the zmmt.sh tool on your z/OS system:    http://ibm.biz/Bdrhkv

while the other fixes the templates used by the zMMT GUI within WCT:    http://ibm.biz/BdrhkM
