Question
During TBSM DASH installation process, this fails with the following error message:
CRIMA1076E: Error executing the /opt/IBM/netcool/omnibus_webgui/waapi/bin/runwaapi command: status=1
While checking the log references within the error message stack trace you may found an error similar to the below one:
WAAPICLIENT: AES Encryption error - The problem with provided to Base64Decorder encrypted text"
Answer
Check waapi.init file and make sure the following property is set to none. If it is set to AES, try to set it as none during TBSM DASH installation process:
waapi.password.encryption:none
After this change, try the installation again and it should work fine.
