Client sends data through SSP seeing delays in transmitting large files. File transfer are very slow. Packet trace shows TCP window size reducing to zero

Troubleshooting

Problem

Transfers of large files from an external client to a backend server via Sterling Secure Proxy (SSP) over any protocol become increasingly slow.

Symptom

Analysis of the network traffic shows that SSP is reducing the window size progressively down to zero after a time to control the flow of data.
