BigSQL Load fails because the number of rejected source records exceeded the max.rejected.records

Troubleshooting


Problem

Running a load statement in jsqsh fails. 
LOAD HADOOP USING FILE URL '/hdfs directory path' WITH SOURCE PROPERTIES ('field.delimiter'='|','ignore.extra.fields'='true') INTO TABLE <tablename> WITH LOAD PROPERTIES ('rejected.records.dir'='/hdfs path','max.rejected.records'=500);

Symptom

SQL Exception(s) Encountered:

[State: 0    ][Code: -5109]: The LOAD HADOOP statement was aborted and no data was loaded into the target table because the number of rejected source records exceeded the limit.  Number of rejected source records: "1875". Rejection limit: "500". Job identifier:"id:job_#####".. SQLCODE=-5109, SQLSTATE=0    , DRIVER=3.71.15
