Limitation: Software Analyzer reports show ??? for double-byte characters on Windows 10

Troubleshooting


Problem

The Software Analyzer component uses a new report engine to generate PDF reports. The new report engine improves report generation performance. However, currently, it has no support for the fonts used in Chinese, Japanese, and Korean locales. Reports that are generated for these locales show question marks instead of the language characters.
There is currently no work-around for this problem.
