Problem
The XGS appliance protection interfaces may fail to load properly.
Symptom
When trying to check the status of the interfaces via the command line using the "protection show" command, the response back is "command failure".
Cause
A corrupted key phrase soft link causes the analysis daemon to crash with a signal 6. When checking the log files, users will see the following messages:
CFG: Error: Couldn't read keyfileCFG: Fatal error: Exception: Failed to load CAResolving The Problem
Contact support and request the 5.4.X-ISS-XGS-Recover-Keyphrase-All-Models-IF0001 fixpack. This fixpack does require a reboot, so plan accordingly.
