Summary

WebSphere Application Serverに同梱されているIBM Java SDKにいくつかの脆弱性が確認され、2019年7月リリースのIBM Java SDKでそれらに対する修正が公開されました。
また、それらの脆弱性は、WebSphere Application Server traditional , Liberty , Hypervisor Edition , Application Clientに影響する可能性があるため対応をご検討ください。

DESCRIPTION:AIX環境のIBM SDK, Java Technology Editionの複数のバイナリー内でインセキュアな絶対RPATHが使用されていました。これは、インジェクション攻撃やローカルユーザーによる特権の昇格を引き起こす可能性があります。

DESCRIPTION: Eclipse OpenJ9には、使用されていないRPATHSへのインジェクション攻撃により、ローカルの攻撃者がシステムに対する特権の昇格を得る可能性がある脆弱性がありました。
攻撃者がこの脆弱性をつくことで、インジェクション攻撃や特権の昇格を得てしまう可能性があります。

この脆弱性は、WebSphere Application ServerとHypervisor Edition、および Liberty に同梱されているIBM SDKにおいて影響があります。

Remediation/Fixes

お使いの環境に該当する個別修正 の適用、もしくは、それらを含むFix Packを適用してください。
また、修正適用によるアップデートに関して、以下の点にご注意ください。
※JDK 2018 Julyのアップデートでは、LDAPS（LDAP over SSL/TLS）接続にエンドポイント識別が追加されています。JDK 2018 Julyを適用していない環境に、本修正を適用する場合は、ご注意ください。

WebSphere Application Server Liberty:

バージョン 対応策
V8.5.0.0～ - IBM Java SDK 7.0 をお使いの場合：
  • 個別修正モジュールAPAR PH14763 を適用します。
    適用後のバージョンは、IBM Java SDK 7 Service Refresh 10 Fix Pack 50 になります。
- IBM Java SDK 7.1(J9 2.7) / SDK 8 をお使いの場合：
  • IBM Java SDKs for Liberty を確認し、IBM Java SDK 7R1 Service Refresh 4 Fix Pack 50以降、または、IBM Java SDK 8 Service Refresh 5 Fix Pack 40以降 を適用します。

　

V9.0 WebSphere Application Server traditional:

バージョン 対応策
V9.0.0.0～V9.0.5.0

　

V8.5 WebSphere Application Server traditional および Hypervisor Edition:

バージョン 対応策
V8.5.0.0～V8.5.5.15 - IBM Java SDK 7.0 をお使いの場合：
  • Fix Pack 8.5.5.0 以降にバージョンアップし、個別修正モジュールAPAR PH14763  を適用します。
    適用後のバージョンは、IBM Java SDK 7 Service Refresh 10 Fix Pack 50 になります。
- IBM Java SDK 7.1 をお使いの場合：
  • Fix Pack 8.5.5.2 以降にバージョンアップし、個別修正モジュールAPAR PH14762 を適用します。
    適用後のバージョンは、IBM Java SDK 7R1 Service Refresh 4 Fix Pack 50 になります。
- IBM Java SDK 8.0 をお使いの場合（Java SDK 6.1/7.0/7.1から移行した環境 ）：
  • Fix Pack 8.5.5.9 以降にバージョンアップし、個別修正モジュールAPAR PH14760 を適用します。
    適用後のバージョンは、IBM Java SDK 8.0 Service Refresh 5 Fix Pack 40 になります。
- IBM Java SDK 8.0を同梱したWASv8.5.5.11以降をインストール、もしくは、WASv8.5.5.14以降を適用することでJava8に移行した場合(bundled Java 8)：
  • 個別修正モジュールAPAR PH14761 を適用します。
    適用後のバージョンは、IBM Java SDK 8.0 Service Refresh 5 Fix Pack 40 になります。
-- または --
  • Fix Pack 8.5.5.17 以降で提供されるIBM Java SDKへアップデートします。
※ Fix Pack 8.5.5.17は、 2020/1Qにリリース予定です。(2019/08/27時点)

※WebSphere Application Server V7 と V8 のサポートは終了しています。
IBMは、修正されていてサポートのある製品のバージョン/リリース/プラットフォームにアップグレードすることを推奨します。
