You will receive an error when trying to upgrade IBM® Rational® Software Architect Standard Edition, IBM Rational Software Modeler, IBM Rational Software Architect for WebSphere® Software, and IBM Rational Application Developer for WebSphere Software from v7.5 to v7.5.1 if they extended an existing Eclipse 3.4.1 IDE and Rational Team Concert was installed in the original package.
You will receive the following error when you attempt to upgrade to v7.5.1:
JVM java version "1.6.0_10" used by existing Eclipse installation C:\temp\Eclipse3.4\eclipse incompatible with Package's JVM requirements.
Note the actual version will depend upon what patch level your Sun JRE is at on your system.
