Abstract

Starting with fix pack 7.1.1.4, an updated ejb-jar.xml file is being provided to resolve a Maximo Integration Framework defect introduced in fix pack 7.1.1.2 .

Fix pack 7.1.1.4 (or later) provides an updated ejb-jar.xml file that fixes a defect introduced in fix pack 7.1.1.2.

Customers must update the new ejb-jar.xml file in the event that they:

- use the Integration Framework
- process inbound messages through the inbound continuous queue

Before rebuilding and redeploying the application EAR file, you must uncomment the ‘MEA MDB’ sections of the ejb-jar.xml file. Uncomment the file as follows:

1. Search the file for 'MEA MDB'. You should find four sections (two for the continuous queue and two for the error queue).

2. Uncomment the two sections for the continuous queue, identified by 'MEA MDB'.

3. If you implemented an error queue, uncomment the two sections for the error queue, identified by 'MEA MDB for error queue'.
