In an Maximo environment with Application Server Security enabled, upgrading or applying a Feature Pack or interim fix can cause login problems.
Symptom
The error message BMXAA0025E - The method cannot be called because application server security is not enabled. Enable Application Server Security. For details, see information on defining server security in the information center. appears.
