Abstract
If you try to create Interface Tables for the interfaces on your External System, and you don't see Interface Tables or End Points available for selection, on the Create Interface Tables dialog box, you need to do some checks.
Content
If you are attempting to create MEA interface tables from an Integration > External System > Actions > Create Interface Table Menu, and you see that no end point is available for selection (even if the End Points are available and active in the End Points application), then some checking is needed.
First, make sure you are not using the HASLD and LANGCODE fields on any of the Object Structure that you are trying to create Interfaces Tables for. According to the Integration Guide for Maximo 7, Chapter 6 (Interface Tables), you will find some info about Restricted Columns saying that the HASLD field, which is an internal system column, is excluded from all objectstructures. Do not include this column in any object structure that is associated with an interface table. The LANGCODE field is also excluded from the predefined object structures.
If that is not the case, then you can follow this checklist (values on the fields are just examples):
1. You need to have an object structure (on Object Structures application) with the "Support Flat Structure" checkbox checked (because the Interface tables use the flat structure). Here is an example.

2. After that you need to have a Publish Channel on the External System (on Publish Channels tab) associated with that object structure. Also, this Publish Channel record must have a value on the Interface Table field. That value will be the name for that Interface Table.

3. Then, you need to associate that Publish Channel with the External System record, make sure that the End Point for it is MXIFACETABLE, and enable it.

4. After following the steps above, you should be able to create the interface tables for the Publish Channels (where end point = MXIFACETABLE) related to the External System record.
