Network drives do not appear when using Controller-on-Cloud

Troubleshooting


Problem

User launches Controller on Cloud. User performs a task (for example Excel link reporting) which requires the ability to read/write from/to files that are stored 'on premise'.
Specifically, user would like to open/save files located on network drives (connected to their PC/laptop).
  • However, when they launch the file browsing dialogue (in Controller-on-Cloud) they do not see the network drives that their PC/laptop (locally) has access to.

Symptom

For example, inside Excel the 'File - Open' dialogue box only shows:
(a) The user's PC/laptop C: drive (highlighted below in green)
(b) The Citrix server's C: and D: drives (highlighted below in pink):

The user expected to see other network drives (for example U: or Y:), so that it looked something similar to:
