Problem
After installation, Go! Office fails to function, reporting "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation"
Symptom
Upon trying to connect to Cognos 8, the error message ("Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation") is thrown.
Cause
.NET Programmability must be enabled in Office 2007
Resolving The Problem
Enable .NET Programmability
1) Launch Add/Remove Programs for Office 2007.
2) Under each application there is a sub-group called ".NET Programmability Support. Enable this for each application (Word/Excel/Powerpoint) that you wish to use Go! Office in.
3) Allow the installer to install the additional files.
