Problem
After entering a URL in a Web Widget on a DASH page, A navigation error occurs: "Navigation to the webpage has been canceled"
Symptom
The following error is being displayed:
Cause
Browser's security settings may prevent the web widget from connecting successfully.
Resolving The Problem
Check the browser's security settings and try adding the URL in question to the browser's trust zone.
How to add web sites to your Trusted Sites in Internet Explorer IE 8:
Step 1: Open the IE Browser. Click Tools on the Menu bar, and select Internet Options.
Step 2: Select the Security tab and then on the Trusted sites check mark.
Step 3 Click on the Sites button to the right of Trusted sites.
Step 3: Type the site you would like to add in the text box, when finished click the Add button.
Step 4: When finished click Close, then OK.
How to add web sites to your Trusted Sites in Mozilla Firefox:
Step 1: Open the Firefox Browser. Click Tools on the Menu bar, and select Options.
Step 2: Select Security and click on the Exceptions button to the right of Warn me…
Step 3: Type the site you would like to add in the text box, when finished, click the Allow button.
Step 4: When finished, click Close, then OK.
