Troubleshooting
Problem
When using the IBM Maximo Mobile application, it is possible to have multiple active timers even if the
maximo.mobile.allowmultipletimers system property is set to 0.Symptom
The maximo.mobile.allowmultipletimers system property (set to 0) only checks for active timers within the same list view. For example, if you open the Technician application, navigate to the Assigned Work Orders list view, open a work order, start a timer, and then try to start a timer on another work order within the same list view, the system will prevent this action.
However, if you navigate to a different list view, such as the Pending Work Orders list view, you will be allowed to start a new timer.
