06/05/2014 13:52:25 ANS1512E Scheduled event 'SQL_TDP_TEST'
failed. Return code = 1904.

Cause

The error code 1904 indicates a permissions issue with the userID that starts the
scheduler service. The userID setup to start the scheduler service at Windows startup has not all the required permissions and roles to manage the backup operation in the MS SQL Database. Usually this error occurs if the scheduler service has been setup to start with the Local System account.

Resolving The Problem

Verify that the Tivoli Storage Manager Scheduler service is set up to be started with a userID that belongs to the SQL sysadmin group/role. Contact the DB Administrator for obtaining the correct information about the userID.
