Problem
After enabling TLS 1.2 on the Microsoft SQL Server, the Integration Composer shows the error during establishing the connection with SQL Server.
Symptom
During establishing the SQL connection, the following error is shown:
Failed while opening a JDBC connection. Database driver message: The driver was unable to establish a secure connection to SQL Server using SSL encryption. Error: "SQL Server did not return a response. The connection was closed.
Resolving The Problem
1. Open <ITIC>\data\properties\jdbcinfo.properties file
2. Add "sendStringParametersAsUnicode=false;multiSubnetFailover=false;selectMethod=cursor;sslProtocol=TLSv1.2;" to the end of mssql.urlFormat line
