Problem
MS Excel or MS Access applications connecting to DB2 Linux Unix Windows Server using DB2 ODBC driver may throw error "The data connection wizard cannot obtain a list of databases from the specified data source."
Symptom
Using 'Data Connection Wizard' like below will throw error "The data connection wizard cannot obtain a list of databases from the specified data source."
You will get an error message like below
