The intent of this technote is to provide a detailed description of the steps required to set up JConsole to monitor JVM Threads in Apache Tomcat. Once successfully set-up, this tool will allow you to ensure that you have enough threads in the pool and Java heap to handle your BI workload. It gives you this information in real-time.
