How to model the enumeration data type in IBM Rational Tau?
Answer
To model the enumeration data type in Tau follow the below steps:
- Use the Primitive/Enumeration data type symbol to get the Primitive/ Enumeration symbol (only primitive stereotype appears on the symbol initially) on the class diagram.
- Name the Enumeration data type
- Enter the literals (now the enumeration stereotype is applied to the data type)
- Enumeration data type is created and can be viewed in the model view as well. See the screen shot below for reference:
