Modeler connection to SQL Server DB

Troubleshooting

Problem

An organization deploys SPSS Modeler (Client +Server) in their Windows® environment. They have a specific user (let's call them User1) who's a data scientist that manipulates data and build models. This user has access to connect to Modeler Server. Because they simply import data into Modeler, the User1 user does not have direct access to the SQL Server database instance. They then have to use a different credential to log in to SQL Server (let's call this dbUser1).

The current observation is that Modeler connects to Server with User1 but when Modeler makes the database connection, it still uses User1 and not dbUser1 that was specified in the Database SOURCE node.

Symptom

User cannot connect to the db despite using the right credentials in the Database source node.
