Question

MMC tracking URLs were set up using the Tracking Code Generator, but there is no data in the reports. The links have been tested via email, entering the URL directly into a web browser. Why is the data not appearing?

Answer

Please check the following:

1.? MMC link tracking starts with clicking through a link from off your domain from an IP address that is not blocked for data collection.

2.? You will want to check to ensure your traffic is not blocked and that the MMC parameters are in the destination URL when you land on the site.

3.? If they are not in the destination URL please have your team ensure the parameters remain through any redirects.

4.? Verify that the click on the MMC URL was the first click in the session as IBM Digital Analytics does not report on mid-session MMCs.
