"Missing HRESULT Parameter" error when refreshing Scheduler Credentials in Contributor Administration Console

Troubleshooting


Problem

When a Planning Administrator logs into Contributor Administration Console, they get a message that the Scheduler Credentials need to be refreshed. However when they attempt to do so, they get an error "Unexpected: missing HRESULT parameter". or Contributor Administration Console (CAC) 'Hangs' at Verifying Scheduler Credentials stage when opening. or CM-SYS-5095 Content Manager could not determine whether this request was signed because it could not use the Cognos Access Manager security subsystem. CAM-CRP-1343 Failed to process the trusted request. Unable to find an appropriate common symmetric key to decrypt the data. or [Validation] CAM-CRP-1116 Unable to renew the expired common symmetric key. Unable to renew the expired signing key pair. Unable to save the contents of the keystore to 'D:/.../c8/configuration/signkeypair\jCA
