Troubleshooting
Problem
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
Start WebSphere Application server and HTTP Server with a user other than ROOT.
Note:
WebSphere started with a non-root user with the following commands:
Sudo -u wasdemo /opt/IBM/WebSphere/AppServer/profiles/ctgDmgr01/bin/startManager.sh
Sudo -u wasdemo /opt/IBM/WebSphere/AppServer/profiles/ctgAppSvr01/bin/startNode.sh
Started IHS with a non-root user as below.
Sudo -u ihsdemo /opt/IBM/HTTPServer/bin/apachectl start
1. Log in to Maximo.
2. Change property mxe.dm.dmroot to reference a folder where the user has full access.
3. Create collection and any artifact (for example: Object Structure).
4. Collection > Create Package Definition.
5. Create FILE distribution from the Distribution tab.
6. Go to the Package Tab > Create Package.
7. Click Distribute.
Symptom
The following errors appear in the logs:
BMXAA5315E - Could not create consolidated package file XXXXX.zip into the folder /test/maximo/migration/ou$
BMXAA5368E - The package could not be redistributed. An error occurred while copying file /test/maximo/migration/outbound/XXXXX.zip t$
