Abstract

This document provides specific details and guidance to migrate scripts to use with the Rational Synergy CLI. Rational Synergy 7.2 must use the Rational Synergy CLI.

The Rational Synergy 7.2 CLI was designed for compatibility with the previous CLI (the Classic CLI) and for improved performance over a wide area network (WAN).The Rational Synergy CLI was also enhanced to be more consistent, and to provide more flexible and powerful features. The Rational Synergy CLI is the only supported command line interface.

Notes:

  1. "ccm release -delimiter" is obsolete in Rational Synergy 7.2 and onwards. Please ignore the same in the attached PDF.

  2. On page 12 there is a reference to IBM Rational Synergy Mapping Rules. The link in the article is incorrect and should instead point to the following URL:
