Troubleshooting
Problem
On Windows platform, there could be some stability issues related to shared memory, which could result in the Process Engine (PE) encountering various problems (crashes, hangs, etc..).
Symptom
The following may occur:
- Unable to start Process Engine
- Shared memory errors during upgrade
- Crashes (Exception 0xc0000005) in various PE-related processes (i.e. VWKs, vwtool, etc..)
- PE server hangs
