Microsoft Edge Browser support with IBM Content Navigator
The following issues and limitations exist when using IBM Content Navigator with the Microsoft Edge Browser:
- Java applets, including the Daeja ViewONE Professional Viewer are not supported.
- Daeja ViewONE Virtual viewer print issues are described in the following technote: https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/286101
- PDF documents download with the name getDocument instead of the actual document title name. This problem is a known Edge Chromium PDF download issue.
- Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD) issues
- AFP2PDF conversion: A PDF document is produced but cannot be viewed because the Adobe Reader plug-in, which is an ActiveX plug-in, does not work with the Edge browser.
- Line data: If ICN is configured to open files by MIME type, the CMOD HTML viewer cannot open line data files. This issue is resolved in CMOD V10.1.0 Fix Pack 2.
