Abstract
Learn how models, reports and other objects that are imported from SAP BusinessObjects are displayed in InfoSphere Information Server.
Content
To import metadata from SAP BusinessObjects, you use the SAP BusinessObjects Repository bridge in InfoSphere Metadata Asset Manager. The repository bridge invokes additional bridges that import from the following tools, depending on your SAP BusinessObjects installation:
- BusinessObjects Designer
- BusinessObjects Crystal Reports
- BusinessObjects Desktop Intelligence
- BusinessObjects Web Intelligence
- BusinessObjects Information Design Tool
- Name of the object in BusinessObjects, or the type of information that is mapped. When the first column of the table refers to information rather than to an object type, the information is enclosed in brackets.
- Display name of the object in InfoSphere Information Server.
- Internal name of the object in InfoSphere Information Server. The internal name is sometimes required for command-line tasks.
- Which interfaces in InfoSphere Information Server display the object. The following abbreviations are used in the Where displayed column to indicate the interface:
MW
- InfoSphere Metadata Workbench
- The staging area of InfoSphere Metadata Asset Manager
- The Repository Management tab of InfoSphere Metadata Asset Manager
- InfoSphere Business Glossary. Indicates assets that can be assigned to terms.
