Troubleshooting

Problem

This document reviews the reason why a message CPD0030 is normally issued and how to do further diagnostic to find the source of the problem.

Resolving The Problem

The user runs the WRKQRY, STRSQL, or RUNSQLSTM command and receives message CPD0030. The user may also issue the STRQRY command, and some of the options normally found on the resulting display will not be available:
STRQRY
This is the result of a licensed program product not being installed. The WRKQRY command is a part of 57xx-QU1. The STRSQL and RUNSQLSTM commands are a part of 57xx-ST1. Use the CHKPRDOPT command to verify the product is installed and that no pieces are missing. You can also use GO LICPGM and select Option 10 to display a list of installed licensed program products.
