Abstract

If your system is doing extensive Microsoft Office format document conversion by using JRE 1.5, you might encounter an OutOfMemoryError.

The use of the eClient don't launch setting for INSO document MIME types might cause a java.lang.OutOfMemoryError. If the server is using JRE 1.5, Sun Microsystems Java bug 6299405 will cause a java.lang.OutOfMemoryError. You will also encounter a memory leak when you use the Java Viewer Toolkit with JRE 1.5 to convert pages of INSO documents on your server.

INSO documents include Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Lotus WordPro, and rich text documents.
