Troubleshooting
Problem
In a WebSphere Application Server (WAS) environment, the application utilizes MemoryStore sessions to manage session data efficiently. However, due to high load conditions or configuration constraints, a web application can reach its maximum session limit, preventing new sessions from being created. When the maximum session threshold is reached, any attempt to use the new session results in a java.lang.IllegalStateException. This exception disrupts application functionality, as new user requests cannot establish necessary session data, causing operational issues.
