Abstract

The new version of Cognos in IBM Control Center no longer uses Tomcat.
These instructions replace the link in the Knowledge Center.

The Cognos web server JVM heap size defaults to -Xmx768m
To increase the Cognos web server JVM heap size, edit Cognos/configuration/cogstartup.xml and set the memory value in the dispatcherMaxMemory element and restart Cognos:
       <crn:parameter name="dispatcherMaxMemory">
            <crn:value xsi:type="xsd:unsignedInt">4096</crn:value>
        </crn:parameter>
