Maximo Spatial - Components to be considered before installation or upgrades

Troubleshooting

Problem

There are quite a few modules in a standard Maximo installation.  In particularly I will be talking about the Maximo TPAE, MIF and Spatial in an effort to better understand how these might work together and how to ensure you have a stable environment.

Symptom

There are times that after an IFIX install to either of these TPAE, Spatial or MIF, odd behaviors are identified.  Things that use to work well before an IFIX was applied.  Lets look into the integration to establish why this might be a cause to investigate.
