Abstract
The script libraries provided with Maximo V7.6.1.x are not supported with Eclipse 4.3.1. The files attached to this document should be used instead.
Prerequisites
Installation Instructions
These files are to be used along with step "2.2 A" in the Maximo76_Designer431_Report Development Guide.pdf
If you are using Maximo V7.6.0, then you do not require these files. Proceed with the instructions in the guide.
1. Follow the guide steps up to step 2.2A.
2. Download the file attached to this document.
3. Extract the contents of the file into this folder on your local Eclipse installation:
<birt_431>\eclipse\plugins\org.eclipse.birt.report.viewer_4.3.1.v201309171028\birt\WEB-INF
(It creates a subfolder called "classes" and populate it with the required files.)
4. Continue with the remaining steps in the guide starting with 2.2B.
Problems Solved
If you copy the classes from a Maximo 7.6.1 installation, you receive the following error message when trying to preview reports in Eclipse designer:
| Error "MXReportScriptContext" is not defined." |
By using the files attached to this document, you avoid this error.
