Maximo Mobile for EAM does not show markup in Long Description

How To


Summary

The long description attributes of a work order do not show the markup of the information. The text from the long description is stripped from the HTML and plain text is showing.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
===================
1. Open the Role Based Technician application and take the number of a work order
2. In Maximo Work Order Tracking application, open the details of the work order from step 1
3. Open the Long Description attribute and enter text that includes Bold, Italic, Underline words and an image.
4. Save
5. In Technician application, open the details of the work order
6. Expand the details of the Long Description – the text is displayed as plain text and no image
