Beginning with IBM Maximo 7.5.0.3, an integration to IBM Cognos 10.1.1 is available, extending Maximo's features to a deeper level of Analytic Reporting. Using these Cognos tools, a suite of Maximo Work Order Management workspaces and Metric reports are now available to you as extended content. With Cognos 10.1.1, additional tools are available for you to visualize and analyze the Maximo data. Using these Cognos tools, a number of Maximo Metric reports and workspaces have been created.
The BI Packs focus on Work Order, Supply Chain and Asset Management. They provide key metrics on Backlog, Overdue, and Unplanned work orders, along with key asset, asset failure, and supply chain metrics. The suite of extended content enabled in this offering include a number of Maximo workspaces along with supporting metric reports. These workspaces and metric reports are intended to highlight non-performing work and asset management areas in your business. Their focus is on visual, intuitive, configurable metrics that can quickly be incorporated within your Maximo-Cognos environment. No Maximo code or database modifications are required to utilize this functionality.
