Sterling e-Invoicing requiresthe following information to be located in the inbound invoice data:
- Invoice date
- Invoice number
- Supplier VAT ID
- Supplier full name and address
- Buyer VAT ID
- Buyer full name and address
- Quantity and line item detail (nature of the goods supplied orthe extent and nature of the services rendered)
- Breakdown of the taxable amount per VAT rate
- VAT taxable amount
- VAT rate applied
- Exemptions applied including references
- VAT amount payable
