Managing Business Views

About this task

Sterling InFlight Data Management givesyou the ability to select the information you see in search resultsor a report. This is also referred to as divisional reporting sinceyou will see reports only on businesses (company divisions) that youselect beforehand from a list of businesses that you have permissionto view.

To see the business views that arecurrently active for your login hover the cursor over the businessview icon at the top right of the screen. This icon will be yellowif there are business views that you have permission to view thatare not currently visible.

Note:

If you are not able to seeany data check your preferences to ensure you have at least one businessview selected.

You can limit information that is visiblein search results and in reports by turning on and off business viewsusing the following steps:

Procedure

  1. At the top of the screen click Preferences.
  2. To select a business or multiple businesses to view selectthe check box next to each business name and click Save.

    To toggle the business view setting between ?all on? or ?alloff? select the check box next to Business View.

Results

If you select any option other than all business viewsthe business view icon will be yellow when you return to your Homepage indicating that some business views are hidden.
