Troubleshooting
Problem
Use the information provided in this document to make the same change for many user profiles.
Resolving The Problem
Assume that you need to change the user profile for 100 of 150 users so they have GRP1 defined as their group profile, and ownership of newly created objects is the group profile. To make this change for 100 users, do the following:
|
1. |
On the operating system command line, type the following: WRKUSRPRF *ALL Press the Enter key. |
| 2. | Page down the list of user profiles names typing 2 in the OPT field for each profile to be changed. |
| 3. | On the command line type the parameter names and values to define the required changes. For example, type the following: GRPPRF(GRP1) OWNER(*GRPPRF) Press the Enter key. The system makes the changes to all profiles flagged with OPT=2. |
